Human Relations Policy

The Department of Psychology consistently works to create an environment that facilitates your academic, professional, and personal development. Consequently, the Department of Psychology is committed to providing an academic environment that is free of discriminatory, disrespectful, and otherwise inappropriate conduct or communication. This commitment is reflected in the department’s policy on harassment, which is available in the departmental office (1347 Lagomarcino Hall). This policy forbids harassment in all its forms, sexual and otherwise, and establishes the Human Relations Committee as a vehicle for receiving and acting on complaints. Any member of the Human Relations Committee can be contacted for information or to register a complaint. The Committee consists of two faculty members, two graduate students, and the presidents of the Psychology Club and Psi Chi. The members of this committee are listed on the bulletin board outside the departmental office.
