The B.S. degree is the traditional academic route and requires additional courses in Math and Natural Sciences beyond the ISU College of Liberal Arts and Sciences General Education requirements.  Completion of a minor or additional major is optional.

Please note:

  • Double majors:  All Psych Departmental requirements must be completed.  Any course substitutions must be approved by the Director of Undergraduate Studies.
  • Students must meet ALL Iowa State University and College of Liberal Arts & Sciences and Psychology requirements to complete their degree, with assistance from their adviser.
  • A total of 120 credits is required.
  • A total of 45 credits at the 300-400 level is required.
  • A cumulative 2.00 GPA is required
