Hi! I am an assistant professor in psychology at Iowa State University. I earned my Ph.D. from Colorado State University in 2004, and then spent three years as a postdoc at the University of California, San Diego. I have always been interested in how memory works and how we can improve it. In my lab at Iowa State, I am working on a number of studies that explore basic memory principles, and how these principles can be applied toward improving education and training.
I am currently the faculty advisor for Psi Chi, the national honor society in psychology, and a German-speaking student organization at ISU called Zeitgeist.
