Welcome!

Mission:

The mission of Network is to provide state of the art group counseling to the people of central Iowa with personal, relational, and emotional concerns. We also seek to expand knowledge of group counseling through research.  Finally, we endeavor to provide in depth training in group treatment to doctoral students and mental health practitioners.

Network is a place where science and practice meet. Founded in 2005, the program provides group treatment for those in need, while producing original research and training mental health providers in group counseling. We are a unit within the Psychology Department of Iowa State University and we are affiliated with the Institute for Social and Behavioral Research.

Current Groups:

We currently have two groups running: Wednesdays at 4:10 or Wednesdays at 6:15pm. Other groups are also forming. If you are interested in participating in a counseling group, please contact us at 294-1898 or groups<at>iastate.edu.
