Dr. Križan’s research examines how the human capacity for self-reflection intersects with emotion, motivation, and personality. The main focus of his ongoing research is the relation between sleep, personality, and social behavior. Specific questions include: Does our personality predict how we sleep? How does sleep disruption impact self-control? How does sleep impact social interaction with others? Dr. Krizan's research is funded by the National Science Foundation.
